Orthodontic emergencies can occur at any point during your orthodontic treatment.  Many times these emergencies may include a broken bracket or wire, loose attachment or button, poking wire, or loose band/appliance.   Many orthodontic emergencies may be taken care of at home to help hold you over until you are able to be seen by our practice.  In the case of a true orthodontic emergency which may include trauma, severe pain or bleeding, you can reach our on-call Orthodontic Assistant during non-business hours at 443-608-4172.  This emergency on-call line is a textable line, so that you may be able to send photos to our assistant to help walk you through handling the orthodontic emergency in question.
