Dr. Romeo

Dr. Marisa Romeo was born and raised in New Jersey. She attended Adelphi University in New York, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, all while competing in varsity softball. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Romeo earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society.

 

Dr. Romeo proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, practicing general dentistry for six years. She then pursued advanced training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she obtained her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics along with a Master of Science in Dentistry.

 

Dr. Romeo is eager to bring her passion for orthodontics to the AGO community! With dedication to crafting healthy and beautiful smiles, she is committed to delivering quality, personalized treatment. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Romeo enjoys traveling, exploring new workout classes, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and spending cherished moments with her family and friends!

 

Her professional affiliations include the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Maryland State Society of Orthodontists (MSSO) and Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO).
